Building on the success of last year’s Girls Gone Wilde event Urban Curvz Theatre is bringing back the popular late night cabaret showcasing the talents of established and emerging female playwrights and creators. Girls Gone Wilde runs March 7-8 & 14-15 at Lunchbox Theatre, nightly at 9:30pm.
The Girls Gone Wilde cabaret provides support for female artists engaged in creating brave new work. In showcasing their work Urban Curvz aims to contribute to the rise of commanding and arresting female voices at the forefront of Canadian culture. The late night cabaret will present a diverse spectrum of acts in based in theatre, clown, and dance. Featured artists include: The Janes, Lindsay Burns, Michelle Brandenburg, Genvieve Pare, Makambe K Simamba, and Sally Stubbs (Vancouver).
