About Us

URBAN CURVZ was founded in 2005 with the goal of creating more professional productions that could provide female artists, both emerging and established, with engaging artistic opportunities.

After the success of our first productions, we became a registered not-for-profit society in 2007, and a year later merged with Broad Minds Productions to gain federal status as a charity in 2008, opening doors to increased funding. (Read: More work by women!)

On the horizon we see the continued development of our organization, the launch of a new and improved Heroines Series, an expansion to a three show season, offshoot programs in feminist education and organizing… no lack of inspiration ‘round this table.
